Fishomania Qualifier 2011- Huge Success!!

WAS A MASSIVE SUCCESS!!
With hot, bright and sunny conditions, the carp spawning- none of this impeded on an excellent match! The top four Anglers all fished on different lakes!

This years winner was local angler Rob Pelling fishing on an unfancied Peg 10 on Marsh Canal. He fished pellets on the deck, tight across and bagged a winning weight of 85lbs.

A very close runner up was Paul Christie with a mixed bag of Mirror and Common Carp from Peg 3, on Holbar 2.

Third place went to Yorkshire angler Rob Minikin, on Covey 1 with 82lb from Peg 21.

Fourth place went to Stephen Richardson who fished on Willow Lake on Peg 1.
There were 130 Anglers in total on the day who enjoyed the day with many spectators and fantastic atmosphere. The presentation and the whole day was admirably ran by Dave Kent (Angling Trust) and the Angling Trust Organisation.

"Thank you Dave and staff for hosting it this year all had a good day fishing your venue" . Sandra Angling Trust
